WE ARE ALL A LITTLE BROKEN

This day!

This very hour!

I just realized this truth,

“we are all a little broken”.

Nobody is perfect;

Some just hold the pieces together better.

Everyone has that one thing that they aren’t proud of.

We all fight battles we can’t share,

Battles we can’t even tell those we love.

Not because we choose not to share,

But because we don’t even know where to start from.

We all have been a little damaged at some point.

For some it was a situation, or by a person,

For others, by things beyond their control.

We are all a little broken!

We all share the condition of brokenness,

Even if our brokenness is not equivalent.

But the real question is,

To what extent are we all broken?

To what extent are we all damaged?

For how long can we hide from our brokenness though?

How long are we going to deny ourselves the truth?

How do we get to heal from the damage(s)?

How do we fix our ourselves if we continue to deny our brokenness?

Or the extent of our damage?

I say the earlier we embrace the truth,

The earlier we stop deceiving ourselves, the better.

That’s the first step to our healing process

That’s the first step to fixing the broken pieces.

It is not an easy process.

It might be tough.

But don’t be too hard on yourself while fixing the pieces.

Let your soul heal.

Let your mind be free.

Let your body fix itself.

Let it out or let it go.

In your healing process, always remember;

We are all broken in some ways.

But that’s okay!

That’s how light gets in.

We are all a little broken.

We either choose to grow stronger by fixing the broken pieces

Or we continue to hurt ourselves at the broken places.

Choose wisely!
