My friends warned me

Everyone tried to caution me

But I turned deaf ears to them all.

They said you were wild, too wild for me.

nevertheless, to me, you were perfect.

You were everything I wanted and more.

Your love was a safe haven for me.

It was the most beautiful thing I’d ever felt.

Now that it is all over

All of our memories were sweet and magical.

Thinking about it now, I was blinded

Not only by love but by my ignorance also.

I do not regret it.

Although it was for a short while, I wish we had lasted longer.

Maybe we would have proven everyone wrong

That I needed your kind of wildness

That there was a whole magnificent soul

Burning brightly behind my naiveness

That your love left me wild.
