COURAGE TO FLY

I must confess that this Writing Challenge hasn’t been easy

I had doubt even before I started.

I didn’t know what to write about,

How to go about it, or if my writings will be good at all.

This is the first time I’ll be trying this writing thingy.

All the same I took the bold step of starting the challenge.

And I absolutely love it!

I love the fact that it is not my usual finance work.

One thing I’ve come to realize is that;

We all have the ability to be extra

We all have the ability to explore

We all have the opportunity to be incredible

Of what good are wings without the courage to fly?

But we need to have the courage to take them

We need to have the courage to take action

We need to be willing to try out new things

We need to have the courage to dare to be different

We need to have the courage to take the risk

Bradley Whitford once said,

“Every story you have ever connected with

Every leader you have ever admired

Every puny little thing you have ever accomplished

Is as a result of taking action

You have a choice

You can either be a passive victim of circumstance

Or you can be the active hero of your own life”.

I’ll close on this note,
